Reggie Kouba

With 15 years of event and professional services experience, Reggie M. Kouba has a track record of client satisfaction and adding value. Reggie has built her reputation and success around her ability to see the big picture while focusing on the details that make a difference, whether coordinating a three day event for 3,000 or an intimate dinner for 10. She has handled every aspect of event planning and execution from front desk registration to food selection.

As Senior Vice President for SheaHedges Group (SHG), Reggie served as the strategic oversight for clients, creating and managing the full marketing and event programs for clients that have included the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), Arlington Economic Development and NOVA Medical Group. During her six+ years with the firm, she provided high-level strategic support for her clients in all areas of their marketing programs including grand opening office and hospital events, company anniversary and holiday parties, annual meetings and strategic planning retreats.

Prior to SHG, Reggie was a Project Manager at Union Privilege, AFL-CIO which provides benefits for union members nationwide. She was responsible for their Financial Direct Marketing, managing both the direct mail and telemarketing campaigns for the approximately 50 unions that participated in the Union Privilege programs.

Early in her career, Reggie worked for The Campaign Performance Group (CPG). During her four years at CPG, she was involved in all aspects of the company from managing the day to day needs of her clients to running the day to day operations of the office.

Reggie currently serves as a Vice President on the Board of Directors for the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA -NCC). Prior to her leadership role on the board, she served as the chair of both the Programs and Professional Development Committees for PRSA-NCC developing, managing and facilitating monthly events for members. She has previously served in leadership positions for several local organizations including Washington Women in PR (WWPR) and Women in Technology (WIT) where she managed their "Heroines in Technology" Dinner. She frequently speaks about marketing and HR trends at local college events, including American University, George Mason University and Catholic University. She appears regularly in the PR Week column "Reply to All."

Reggie holds a Master's degree in Communications from The American University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Catholic University of America.
